Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Little Russia, London Borough of Haringey
Schedule: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM)
Salary: £425 – £525 per week (PAYE, NO Umbrella Deductions) Depending on experience

Our client, a well-established mainstream primary school, is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a group of KS1 pupils with Autism. Join a dynamic team of three other TAs to help these children thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to a group of KS1 pupils with ASD, ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Work collaboratively with other Teaching Assistants to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in both academic learning and social development of the children.
• Help implement personalised learning plans and behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

• DBS on the Update Service is essential.
• Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly ASD, is required.
• At least 3-6 months of experience working in a primary school or any childcare setting.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn new skills.
• Strong ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
