Position: Reception Teaching Assistant | Immediate Start
Location: Seven Sisters, London Borough of Haringey
Schedule: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4 PM)
Salary: £425 – £525 per week (PAYE, NO Umbrella Deductions) Depending on experience

Are you a dynamic and caring individual with a passion for supporting young children? Do you have experience in Early Years education, particularly with Autism, and want to make a difference in a mainstream primary school setting?

We are seeking two dedicated Learning Support Assistants for a long-term, full-time position at a vibrant mainstream school in Seven Sisters, Haringey. This is a rewarding opportunity to work 1:1 with Reception pupils with Autism and help shape their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to Reception children with Autism.
• Focus on social, emotional, and communication development.
• Incorporate physical activities into learning using your sports or physical education background.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals.
• Support speech and language development to foster effective communication.

Key Requirements:

• 3 – 6 months Experience working with young children, ideally in Early Years or Reception.
• Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and effective strategies to support children with ASD.
• A background in sports or physical education.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a nurturing approach.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
