SEN Teaching Assistant | 1 Full-Time and 1 Part-Time Role | September 2024 Start

Location: Ealing Broadway, W5

Pay: £90-£105 per day (PAYE) Depending on experience

Role: Full-time and Part-time 3 days, long-term – 8 AM – 3:30 PM

Ortus Recruitment is looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in Ealing Broadway, London. The mainstream school requires two TAs to support Reception or Year 1 students. Your role will involve one-on-one work with children who have needs such as speech and language difficulties and autism.

The school is situated in a lovely area with numerous restaurants and cafes. Additionally, the primary school is just a stone’s throw away from Ealing Broadway Station, offering excellent transport links. It is also one of the top 20 performing primary schools in the country and is Ofsted-rated “Outstanding.”

About the Role:

• Work 1:1 with students or in small groups to help with their studies.
• Work with the SLT and the class teacher to provide the best support and care for the children, creating an environment for them to flourish.
• Become a friendly and reliable face for students throughout the school.

About You:

• A Level 3 qualification or a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
• Resilience, fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, and a calm temperament.
• Dedication to providing the best education around.
