Job Summary:

· Start date: Immediate Start

· Pay: £80 – £95 per day, PAYE – No hidden agency/umbrella company fees

· Role: Full time, Long term (Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:00)

In order to be considered for this role, you must have:

· A clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52

· Two obtainable childcare relevant references

· A minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math

Requirements for this position:

· You will need experience working alongside children in a childcare relevant setting, such as: Coaching, Nannying, Tutoring and/or Youth Work

· You will need a passion for working alongside children and dedicated to raising their academic attainment level

· You will need to be confident and able to think on your feet in challenging situations

· You will need to have a ‘Can do’ attitude

· You will need to be able to follow instructions as well as follow your own initiative

Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the class teacher supporting a year 1 class on a full, long term basis. You will be responsible for helping the class teacher with planning and preparing classwork and activities for the pupil, as well as supervising them in the lunch hall and in the playground. You will be required to liaise with both the SENCO, and the parents/carers to provide feedback on pupil progress.
