1:1 Teaching Assistant | Haringey | September Start 2024

Location: Haringey, Muswell Hill

Timings: Full-Time and Long term, MON to FRI, 8 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay: £450-£500 PAYE per week (NO UMBRELLA DEDUCTIONS)

Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant- (Year 2,4,6 ) X 3 TA ROLE

Trials: First week of September 2024

Ortus Recruitment is looking for three new Teaching Assistants to work one-on-one with pupils in Years 2, 4, and 6. These positions involve conducting one-to-one interventions with assigned students to support their academic and social development and improve their overall attainment.

About the School: The Mainstream Primary School, rated outstanding by OFSTED, is located in the vibrant area of Muswell Hill, Haringey. The area offers a variety of great cafes, restaurants, and shops for you to explore.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
• The ability to work in a team
• Excellent time management and attendance
• Excellent attention to detail
• Possess knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum.
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting or general experience working with children (i.e., Youth Club, Private Nanny, Sports Coaching, Voluntary, Childminding, Tutoring)
• Relevant Degree (i.e., English, Psychology, Performing Arts, Maths, Science etc.)
