A primary school in Feltham, Hounslow, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with Year 1 students who need additional support to thrive both academically and socially.

The Role:
As a Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, offering tailored support that addresses their individual learning needs. You will be working with children who have autism, speech and language difficulties, and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for SEN students in Year 1.
• Assist the class teacher in differentiating tasks and adapting resources for SEN pupils.
• Support students with their personal, social, and emotional development.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and parents to monitor progress and implement strategies.

About You:

• Previous experience working with SEN students in a primary school.
• Strong understanding of early years development and SEN interventions.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
