We’re recruiting a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with non-verbal autism in a supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing Broadway.

The Role

• Supporting a child with non-verbal autism to achieve their full potential.
• Implementing strategies to aid communication, learning, and social interaction.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to create a nurturing environment.
• Using creativity and adaptability to meet the child’s individual needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Prior experience working with children with autism or in SEN settings is essential.
• Skills: A calm, patient, and empathetic approach with excellent communication skills.
• Qualifications: Teaching assistant qualification is a plus, but relevant experience is valued equally.
• Commitment: A passion for education and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
