The Role:
As a Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils requiring additional support to ensure they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for Year 1 pupils with SEN, such as speech and language delays and developmental needs.
• Assist in delivering creative and accessible lessons tailored to individual requirements.
• Foster pupils’ confidence and independence through targeted interventions.
• Work collaboratively with the SENCO and class teacher to develop personalised strategies.
• Monitor progress and adapt support plans to meet evolving needs.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN children, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• Understanding of SEN strategies, including visual aids and sensory tools.
• Patient, nurturing, and dedicated to creating an inclusive environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
