Ortus Recruitment currently have a vacancy in a primary school located in Caterham for a Teaching Assistant role in a Year 1 class.

If you are an individual who is passionate about working with children and have had previous experience doing this then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Previous experience in the education sector isn’t required as other work experience with children is also desirable.

The school are looking for someone who can adjust quickly into the environment and have a positive effect on the students that they interact with.

The role:

• Assisting students in a Year 1 class with their learning and creativity
• Monitoring students closely to see if any may need additional help
• Helping the class teacher organise lessons for the children
• Full time long term
• £70-85 per day (PAYE)

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children
• Knowledge of KS1
• Fully enhanced DBS on the update service
• Can provide two references
