Ortus Recruitment are recruitinga resilient, assertive and patient Behaviour Mentor who has experience working with a Year 2 child with challenging behaviour.

The role will require you to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 child to aid in his social, emotional and acedemic development. He exhibits very challenging behaviour therefore the individual must be assertive and have a firm but fair approach. You will need to build a rapport with the child and promote a safe and inclusive enviroment.

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
• Minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant subject e.g. psychology or education or Level 3 qualification
• Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills
• Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
