Ortus Recruitment are recruiting a resilient, assertive and compassionate Learning Support Assistant who has experience with effective behaviour management to support a Year 2 child with challenging behaviour.

The role will require you to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 child to aid in his social, emotional and acedemic development. He presents very challenging behaviour therefore the individual must be assertive and have a firm but fair approach. You will need to build a rapport with the child and promote a safe and inclusive enviroment.

The successful individual will:

• Be patient, motivating and assertive
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
• Have experience working with children with SEN
• Have a strong acedemic background – Level 3 qualified or Degree educated
• Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
