A vibrant primary school in Croydon Town Centre is looking for a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in Key Stage 1 who need additional guidance in their learning journey.

The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teaching staff to ensure every child feels supported, included, and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted one-on-one and group support for Year 2 students with SEN, such as autism and sensory needs.
• Assist in adapting classroom activities and resources to suit individual learning styles.
• Support emotional well-being and foster positive behaviour.
• Monitor progress and share updates with the SENCO and teaching staff.
• Create a calm and engaging environment that encourages learning.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• Knowledge of effective SEN strategies, such as visual schedules and sensory tools.
• Caring, enthusiastic, and patient in your approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
