The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll provide vital support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring they feel confident and engaged in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to Year 2 pupils with SEN, such as speech and language challenges and developmental delays.
• Work with the class teacher to plan and adapt lessons for individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and social skills through structured activities.
• Implement strategies like sensory tools and visual supports to aid engagement.
• Regularly liaise with the SENCO to track progress and adjust interventions.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN children, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• Familiarity with techniques such as differentiated learning and sensory breaks.
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to creating an inclusive classroom.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
