The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs, enabling them to thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer one-on-one and group support to Year 2 pupils with SEN, such as autism and sensory processing disorders.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Use creative approaches to enhance learning and social development.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO.
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages confidence and independence.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, especially in Key Stage 1.
• Familiarity with SEN strategies like sensory interventions and visual supports.
• Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to inclusive education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
