A nurturing primary school in Norbury is looking for a dedicated Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused support to pupils with additional needs.

The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and ensure each child achieves their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEN, including ADHD and sensory needs, on a one-on-one and small-group basis.
• Assist in delivering adapted lesson plans that suit individual learning requirements.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff to develop and monitor progress on Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Help pupils develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• A good understanding of SEN strategies, such as sensory support and social skills interventions.
• Patient, resourceful, and committed to improving pupil outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
