A vibrant primary school in Norbury is seeking a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils requiring extra support, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one and group support for Year 2 pupils with SEN, including speech and language delays and sensory needs.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons.
• Foster positive relationships and encourage social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with the SENCO to implement and adapt individual education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor pupil progress and communicate updates with the wider school team.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting developmental and sensory needs.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to inclusive education.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
