The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students engage in classroom activities. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to ensure each child’s needs are met, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Year 2 students with SEN, including those with speech and language delays, ADHD, and sensory processing needs.
• Adapt lesson materials to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Encourage social skills development and support positive behaviour.
• Track student progress, collaborating with the SENCO to address any additional needs.
• Create an engaging, supportive learning space that promotes confidence.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students in Key Stage 1.
• Knowledge of adaptive learning strategies and behaviour management techniques.
• Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to student success.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
