A vibrant primary school in Purley is seeking a dedicated Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide focused support for pupils with SEN.

The Role:
As a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll assist children in their academic and personal development, ensuring they receive the targeted support they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to pupils with SEN, such as ASD or speech and language delays.
• Assist with literacy and numeracy interventions tailored to individual learning plans.
• Help manage and adapt classroom activities to ensure accessibility for all pupils.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies.
• Encourage social interaction and build pupils’ confidence within the classroom environment.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN pupils in Key Stage 1.
• Familiarity with interventions for speech and language or sensory integration.
• Patient, adaptable, and passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to liaise with staff and parents effectively.
