Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking a hard-working individual to join our partnered mainstream primary school based in Ealing for an immediate start!

Role Overview:

• Position: Classroom Assistant
• Location: Ealing
• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Full-time_ (Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM)_

Responsibilities:

• Lead groups in core curriculum activities such as Maths, English, and Writing
• Prepare resources and maintain areas within the setting
• Conduct assessments and maintain records
• Assist in daily routines for children
• Engage children in learning and play activities indoors and outdoors
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Running one-to-one and group interventions
• One-to-one with children who may need additional assistance

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a UK primary school
• SEN Experience or knowledge
• Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (free online training available if needed)

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this role with Ortus Recruitment, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Possess an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references covering the past 1 year
