Teaching Assistant (1:1 SEN Support) – Year 2

Central London – near King’s Cross Station
Full-time | Term-time

We are a specialist recruitment agency working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school located just minutes from King’s Cross Station. The school is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Year 2 class.

The role:

• Providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN
• Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored strategies
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Helping the child access the curriculum in a supportive and nurturing way

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
• Be patient, caring, and resilient
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
