Are you looking to pursue or continue a rewarding career within the education sector? If so then this is a great opportunity for you. There is currently a vacancy in a school in the Sutton borough who are looking for someone to work in one of their Year 2 classes.

You will be responsible for looking after students in the class throughout the year supporting them with their development as well as their learning. Your task will be to shadow them during lessons and help them if they are struggling with anything. Also, you will be highlighting any concerns for pupils who are showing signs of having learning difficulties which will involve liaising with the school’s SENCO.

The school want an individual who can have an immediate impact on those that they interact with and create a positive environment for the children to learn in. Strong subject knowledge on the KS1 curriculum will be needed in order to provide the best assistance to the children and they must be a hardworking confident individual.

Requirements:

• Fully enhanced DBS on the update service
• Can provide two references
• Available for full time work
• Previous experience with children in a work setting

If you are a recent graduate and you don’t have sufficient experience you will still be considered if you apply depending on the qualifications you have attained.
