Teaching Assistant | Year 3 | Fulltime | Hounslow | £75 – £90 PAYE!

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our Year 3 team in Hounslow as a 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the child, their class teacher, and SENCO to ensure that they receive the necessary support and accommodations to succeed in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 support to the child in and out of the classroom
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement an individualized education plan (IEP) for the child
• Assisting with the child’s personal care, as necessary
• Facilitating the child’s participation in class activities and ensuring their inclusion in the classroom community
• Providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO on the child’s progress and any concerns or needs

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday during school hours. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
