Ortus Recruitment are recruiting 2 reliable and experienced Teaching Assistants to work in a lovely, inclusive Primary school in Brent – a diverse and dynamic borough with an abundance of shops, cafes, parks and public transport links.

The Year 3 Pastoral Teaching Assistant role will involve working with Year 3 pupils to ensure positive academic, social and emotional development, while also effectively engaging the children with the KS2 curriculum and providing extra support to children with additional needs through interventions .

Main Expectations:

• 3+ months experience supporting SEN cchildren
• 3+ months classroom experience (desirable)
• Have a level 3 qualification, e.g. CACHE level 3 or a degree in a relevant subject e.g. psychology or education
• Strong numeracy/literacy skills
• Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum (desirable)
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
