The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will be vital in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for Year 3 students with SEN, including autism and speech and language challenges.
• Adapt classroom materials to suit individual needs and abilities.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with the SENCO to implement personalised support plans.
• Monitor student progress and celebrate achievements.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN children, especially in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN approaches such as sensory tools and behaviour management strategies.
• Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
