A forward-thinking primary school in Shirley is looking for a dedicated Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support children with additional learning needs.

The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils to ensure they can access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to Year 3 pupils with SEN, including ADHD and social communication difficulties.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
• Implement behaviour management plans and emotional regulation strategies.
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adjusting support as needed.
• Foster independence and confidence through structured interventions.

About You:

• Experience supporting SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Familiarity with behaviour management techniques and tailored teaching strategies.
