Are you experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
A primary school in Coulsdon is seeking a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students who require additional help in the classroom. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure that the students receive the guidance they need to make progress in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support for Year 3 students with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher with adapting lessons to suit individual needs.
• Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
• Monitor progress and work with the SENCO to adjust strategies as needed.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, ideally in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and how to implement them in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
