A primary school in Coulsdon is looking for a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant who is ready to provide dedicated support to students in need of extra guidance. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children at a key stage of their education.

The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll support the class teacher by working one-on-one and in small groups with students with SEN. You will assist in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can progress confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small group support for Year 3 students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, and behavioural needs.
• Modify lesson content to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Promote positive behaviour and build social skills among students.
• Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to monitor and document student progress.
• Encourage student participation and independence.

About You:

• Experience supporting SEN students, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Understanding of adaptive learning techniques and behaviour management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient approach.
• Dedicated to helping each child succeed.
