A primary school in Waddon is looking for a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students requiring tailored interventions.

The Role:
As a Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of a team dedicated to helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support for Year 3 pupils with SEN, such as autism and sensory processing difficulties.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt learning activities for individual needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction through structured activities.
• Implement strategies, such as visual timetables and sensory breaks, to enhance engagement.
• Regularly communicate with the SENCO and parents to monitor progress.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN pupils in a Key Stage 2 setting.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions, including behaviour management.
• Empathetic, resourceful, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
