Job Title: Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

Are you experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 2?
A primary school in Hounslow East is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs. You will play a key role in helping these children achieve their full potential.

The Role:
You will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support Year 3 students with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Your work will involve providing both individual and small group support, helping students to access the curriculum and progress socially and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to Year 3 students with SEN.
• Help differentiate lessons and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Support students in developing communication, social, and emotional skills.
• Assist with classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the best outcomes for students.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
