Ortus Recruitment is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Brentford. This full-time role, starting in September, focuses on providing 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs (SEN), helping them succeed in a mainstream classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 3 student with SEN, adapting teaching strategies to meet their individual needs
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons, ensuring they are inclusive and accessible
• Lead small group interventions to reinforce key skills in literacy and numeracy
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the student’s confidence and participation
• Regularly monitor and report on the student’s progress to the SENCO, teachers, and parents
