Ortus Recruitment are currently hiring for a Teaching Assistant position in an established primary school in Caterham.

If you are someone who is keen on working with children and would either like to kickstart your career or further develop your experience, then this is a great opportunity for you.

The role will consist of you being placed in one of the school’s Year 3 classes, supporting students inside and outside of the classroom, helping them with their development and learning, tracking their progress and highlighting any issues with the class teacher and SENCO. As it is a Year 3 class, it will be there first year with a new curriculum so you will need to have basic knowledge of the KS2 curriculum so you can provide the best support to the children.

Role requirements:

• A fully enhanced DBS on the update service
• Can provide two references
• Available for full time work
• Previous experience working with children

The successful applicant will be joining an Ofsted graded “outstanding” school that is two form entry. All the staff in the school aim to give the students who attend the best possible experience and prepare them for the next stage in their lives.
