Year 3 Teaching Assistant – Wimbledon – £80-£90 PAYE

Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream client based primary school who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in their ASC base, supporting pupils in KS2.

The role will involve supporting a small group of pupils in KS3, who have Autism. You will work alongside the class teacher with several Teaching Assistants to ensure that each pupil is understanding and keeping up with their class work.

For this role you must:

• Have experience working with SEN (particularly ASC)
• Have experience working with children of the primary age range
• Have good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service / be willing to process a new application
• Be available full-time, long-term (consistency is essential)
• A caring, understanding approach
