A primary school in Addiscombe is looking for a dedicated Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide focused support to students with learning difficulties. This role offers a chance to create positive change in the lives of children who need extra guidance.

The Role:
As a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide one-on-one and small group support to students. Your role will include adapting lesson materials, managing behaviour, and fostering social skills to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for Year 4 students with SEN, including those with dyslexia, autism, and behavioural challenges.
• Modify lesson content to meet individual learning needs.
• Help manage behaviour and encourage positive interactions among students.
• Work with the SENCO to track progress and implement targeted support strategies.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, especially in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and a caring, patient approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
