A thriving primary school in Thornton Heath is seeking a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role:
As a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a key member of the classroom team, ensuring all pupils feel supported and engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to Year 4 pupils with SEN, such as autism and speech and language difficulties.
• Assist in delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Implement strategies, including sensory breaks and behaviour support plans.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment to promote positive social interactions.
• Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to monitor and adjust interventions.

About You:

• Previous experience working with SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies such as visual timetables and structured play.
• Patient, resourceful, and dedicated to promoting inclusive education.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
