A vibrant primary school in Shirley is seeking a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to students who need additional guidance. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and SEN.

The Role:
As a Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You’ll provide tailored support to students, working closely with the class teacher to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to Year 4 students with SEN, including ADHD and sensory processing needs.
• Adapt learning activities to meet each student’s abilities and interests.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social skill development.
• Work alongside the SENCO to implement personalised learning plans.
• Support students in managing their emotions and building self-confidence.

About You:

• Experience with SEN students, especially in Key Stage 2.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques.
• Kind, approachable, and committed to fostering student success.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
