Year 4 Teaching Assistant | Park Royal | Immediate Start

Ortus Recruitment is currently in search of a Teaching Assistant to join our team and work alongside one of our esteemed client mainstream schools situated in Park Royal, within the London Borough of Ealing. This primary school enjoys a convenient location just a short distance from Park Royal underground station, surrounded by lively parks, delightful restaurants, and charming cafes.

The role:

• Working with the year 4 class
• Assisting children with SEN needs such as autsim, ADHD and Bahviour
• Need to manage classroom behaviour
• Working with the classroom teacher
• Running one-to-one and group interventions

Requirements:

• Hold a teaching qualification or be degree-educated
• Previous experience in a primary school with sound knowledge of the curriculum
• SEN experience (highly desirable)
• Friendly, empathetic, and motivating
• Attentive to the needs of pupils
• Aware of social barriers that pupils may face during their time at school
• reliable and committed fully to each lesson assisted
