Ortus Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Heston. This full-time role, starting in September, focuses on providing 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs (SEN), helping them thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 student with SEN, tailoring assistance to meet their unique needs
• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and adapt lessons that enhance the student’s learning experience
• Lead small group interventions to boost confidence in literacy and numeracy skills
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Monitor and document the student’s progress, liaising with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent and effective support
