Teaching Assistant Job Details:

• Year 4 Teaching Assistant position
• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time
• Daily rate of £70 – £85 per day
• Located in London Borough of Barnet
• Potential for career progression and teacher training in partnership with the school

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

The role:

The Teaching Assistant will provide support in a classroom setting by effectively managing behaviour, keeping the classroom organised, aiding the class teacher in prepping and planning engaging lessons and working on a 1:1 basis with SEN children or leading interventions in small groups to raise attainment.

The successful individual will:

• Be assertive, motivating and enthusiastic
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
• Have experience working with children with SEN
• Have a strong acedemic background – Level 3 qualified or Degree educated
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
