A welcoming primary school in Hounslow is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support Year 5 students in their academic and personal development.

The Role:
As a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have additional learning needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties, and ADHD. You will collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning plans and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to Year 5 students with SEN.
• Assist in developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
• Support students in overcoming social and emotional challenges through structured activities.
• Help the class teacher create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
