The Role

As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere.
• Provide assistance to pupils with additional needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and a love of learning in all students.

• A great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about education and working with children.
• Able to adapt to the needs of individual students and the class as a whole.
• Ideally experienced in working with Key Stage 2 students, although this is not essential.
