ORTUS RECRUITMENT are looking to recruit an assertive and confident Teaching Assistant, to support in a Year 5 class. The ideal candidate will liaise with parents/carers, manage behaviour in the classroom and in the playground, keep the classroom organised and lead numeracy and literacy interventions to raise attainment.

The school is a diverse and community-driven Primary school in Dollis Hill, that keeps the child at the heart of everything it does. They pride themselves on their ethos and require an individual who shares the same values and is passionate about promoting them within the school.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**

The ideal candidate will:

• Be assertive, take initiative and be proactive
• Have good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Have strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Lead interventions to raise attainment
• Promote the values and ethos of the school
