A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Hounslow Central, supporting Year 5 students in their academic and social development.

The Role:
You will work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted support to students, focusing on both their academic learning and emotional wellbeing. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the progress of upper Key Stage 2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Year 5 students in their literacy, numeracy, and topic work.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing engaging lessons and materials.
• Lead small group interventions for students needing additional help.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with SEN students, ensuring they receive the support they need.

About You:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• A positive and flexible attitude with strong organisational skills.
• Good understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and how to support different learning needs.
• Passionate about working with children and helping them succeed.
