A highly popular school in Purley are looking for an individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in their Year 5 class. They want someone who can make a positive difference on the students that they interact with and work closely with the class teacher to provide fun educational lessons.

Previous experience with children in a work environment is required but it doesn’t have to be in the education sector although that is preferable. If you wish to apply you will also need to have a fully enhanced child DBS on the update service, be able to provide two references, have strong knowledge of the curriculum and be available for full time work.

The role operates from Monday-Friday with hours ranging from approximately 8:30am-4pm. Duties will include supporting students during lessons to help develop their understanding, assist students with any issues they may have or need resolving, monitoring those who are showing signs of needing extra help due to behaviour or learning difficulties and being a close part of the school community.
