A mainstream, Ofsted-rated ‘good’ Primary school is looking for a Teaching/Classroom Assistant to work in a Year 6 class. The school is situated in the vibrant London borough of Camden surrounded by shops, restaurants and easily accessible transportation links.

The successful candidate will have experience working in UKS2 as well as knowledge of the KS2 curriculum to effectively engage children in lessons and interventions in order to raise attainment. The role will also involve working on a 1:1 basis with a children who have additional needs.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a minimum 2:2 degree in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama and Performing Arts or be Level 3 qualified
• Have experience working with children in a classroom enviroment
• Be friendly, confident, assertive, reliable and dedicated to being a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting children in their social, emotional and acedemic development

Classroom Assistant Job Details:

• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time
• Daily rate of £70 – £85 per day (PAYE – No Umbrella Fees)
• Located in London Borough of Camden
