A primary school in New Addington is looking for a Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs as they prepare for their transition to secondary school.

The Role:
As a Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help students overcome challenges and achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for Year 6 pupils with SEN, including ADHD and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Assist with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Support pupils in preparing for SATs and transitioning to secondary school.
• Work collaboratively with the SENCO and class teacher to monitor and adapt interventions.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN pupils in Key Stage 2, particularly in preparation for SATs.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies, such as behaviour support plans and structured interventions.
• Compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated to inclusive education.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
