A primary school in Norbury is seeking a Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils during this critical phase of their education.

The Role:
As a Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils to help them achieve their academic goals and prepare for secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for Year 6 pupils with SEN, such as autism and ADHD.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Support pupils in preparing for SATs and their transition to secondary education.
• Collaborate with the SENCO to monitor progress and refine interventions.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment to boost confidence and engagement.

About You:

• Experience supporting SEN pupils, particularly in Key Stage 2.
• Familiarity with SEN strategies like behaviour support plans and structured interventions.
• Compassionate, proactive, and committed to inclusive education.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
