Ortus Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistants to join the team at our client schools. Our ideal candidate has a passion for teaching and inspiring children.

- Daily rate of £80 – £100 (PAYE)
- Located in London Borough of Brent
- Potential to secure permanent position

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Year 6 as well as adept knowledge of the KS2 curriculum to effectively engage children in lessons and interventions in order to raise attainment and prepare pupils for SATs. You will also be expected to be a role model for pupils, help to create a positive learning environment and foster excellent behaviour. A childcare-related qualification is ideal but not necessary, as long as you are proactive and dedicated, this job is for you!
The Year 6 Teaching Assistant:
-Work directly with classroom teacher on daily activities and lessons
-Work collaboratively with other teachers, classroom staff and support staff to create an environment that encourages learning and growth
-Assist in creating lesson plans based on goals for each child based on their individual abilities and needs
-Lead core subject interventions in small groups to raise attainment
– Support students in the lead up to SATs examinations
