We are liaising with our Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ client school in the heart of the Brent Borough. This is a school that is committed to providing an inclusive and safe learning environment for their pupils to thrive. They are looking for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant who can share in their ethos and values and aid in the pupils social, emotional and academic development.

Job Role:

This is a Year 6 Teaching Assistant position, therefore we are looking for someone who can have a firm but fair approach , act as a role model and manage behaviour effectively. Key responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to SEN pupils
• Assisting with classroom activities, including planning and preparation
• Promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
• Collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for education and helping pupils achieve their full potential
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
