Ortus Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hayes, Hillingdon Borough seeking a motivated KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide targeted SATs intervention support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants and ambitious graduates looking to gain valuable Key Stage 2 classroom experience.

The Role: Year 6 SATs Intervention Teaching Assistant

• Deliver focused English and Maths booster sessions
• Provide small group intervention to raise attainment
• Support pupils with SATs preparation and exam confidence
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and planning
• Track pupil progress and support academic improvement

Who We’re Looking For:

• 3–6 months experience in a Primary School or KS2 setting (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Confident supporting Year 6 SATs
• Graduates in English, Maths, Science or Education encouraged to apply
• Positive, proactive and committed to pupil progress

Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Two professional references
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
