A welcoming, Ofsted-rated ‘good‘ Primary School in the London Borough of Camden are looking to recruit a confident and assertive individual to support in a Year 6 class.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in UKS2 as well as adept knowledge of the KS2 curriculum to effectively engage children in lessons and interventions in order to raise attainment and prepare pupils for SATs.

Year 6 TA Expectations:

• 3-6 months UKS2 classroom experience
• Minimum 2:2 grade in relevant degree e.g. psychology or educational studies or a Cache Level qualification
• Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Adept knowledge of KS2 curriculum
• Must be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references

Year 6 TA Job Details:

• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time
• Daily rate of £70 – £85 per day
• Located in London Borough of Camden
• Potential for career progression and teacher training in partnership with the school
